Bahrain - Confidentiality of Information [7.2.1]

Although Bahrain's TRA is not obliged to make comments public or to invite interested parties to comment on any comments received, it may do as at its discretion. However, parties submitting comments pursuant to a public consultation notice may request that the TRA treat all or parts of its comments as confidential by clearly demonstrating the commercial sensitivity of the relevant part(s) and providing the TRA with a version for public circulation. Confidential information is categorized as either “TRA Only Information,” which is only appropriate for review by the TRA and its advisors on a need to know basis, or “Restricted Information,” which is available only to a limited number of designated persons within another party, such as appropriate legal advisors, regulatory personnel and outside experts. Commercially sensitive information excludes information that is in the public domain or that must be disclosed under applicable law.
